Chad Vazquez is the President and CEO of Chad Vazquez Investigations, LLC, a New York State licensed private investigation firm based in the New York City metropolitan area. Prior to founding the firm, Chad served as a New York City Police Department detective from 1993 through 2014, bringing over two decades of law enforcement experience and an intimate knowledge of New York City's neighborhoods, criminal justice institutions, and investigative procedures to his current work.

Since retiring from the NYPD, Chad has dedicated his career almost exclusively to criminal defense investigation, applying the same skills he once used building cases for the prosecution toward protecting the rights of the accused. Licensed by the New York State Department of State as a private investigator, Chad has built a reputation as a trusted and highly regarded criminal defense investigator, recognized as such by the New York City criminal justice system as well as the Federal Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Today, the overwhelming majority of Chad Vazquez Investigations' caseload consists of criminal defense work, supporting defense attorneys and their clients on cases throughout New York City, Nassau County, and Suffolk County. Drawing on decades of cumulative experience, Chad and a team of highly experienced investigators provide a comprehensive range of investigative services, including locating and interviewing witnesses, reviewing and analyzing discovery materials, documenting and photographing crime scenes, conducting background investigations, analyzing cell phone extractions and telecommunications records, and obtaining court records and case files. Since its founding, Chad Vazquez Investigations has investigated more than 2,300 cases, including over 900 homicide investigations. Chad consults closely with defense counsel throughout the litigation process, serving as a resource to attorneys during trial preparation and, when required, testifying in court regarding his investigative findings and methodology.
